Hair Cut

Here are a couple of pictures of Nathan's hair cut today. It was the first time that he had been anywhere to have his hair cut. He wasn't too sure about things at first but warmed up to it by the end. We were in the back part of the salon so on the way out as he walked by all of the hairdressers he told everyone "bye" - very cute and he charmed all of the ladies.

Beaufort in December

Nathan and I hit the beach this afternoon for a little digging in the sand and dipping our toes in the ocean.

Nathan's House

Here is a picture of Nathan's house with its new additions. He now has a basketball goal that he recieved as a Christmas gift. He likes to drop the ball in from the top. On the lower level Nathan has the newly installed cardboard house complete with five windows and one door.

Christmas Morning

Nathan and I traveled around GA for a couple of weeks and had a great time visiting everyone. It was good to be able to visit without rushing around so much. Nathan had lots of fun with all of the PAs and the great grandparents. We have way too many pictures to post so I thought that I would start with Christmas morning here. He got a gator and had a good time playing outside that morning. I hope that everyone had as good of a Christmas as we did.

Lua's B-day party

Happy 1st Birthday Lua! Michelle and Gota had Lua's 1st b-day party a little early on the Thanksgiving weekend. A good time was had by all.

Thanksgiving Visit

We went back to GA for Thanksgiving at the Berzack's. Daniel and I did the Atlanta 1/2 Marathon with his dad, my aunt Joy and uncle Kelly. My dad went with us as well. After that we came back and ate some very tasty food. Nathan spent the the entire time riding something (tractor, horse, gator, etc.), playing hard outside, or "working" around the barn.

Digging in the Dirt

Apparently it doesn't get much better than digging in the dirt in the morning. As you can see from the bottom picture I am getting instructions to do more digging and less picture taking. Nathan was so dirty that I had to undress him outside before bringing him in for lunch.

Thanks for the chow mom!

When Nathan really wants to say thank you for something he says thank you and adds a tap tap on you arm for added emphasis - very cute. His mouth is full of potato here so it does look a little weird but he is tapping to say thanks.

Happy Birthday!

Well yesterday (7th) was Nathan's official second birthday. So we had a Nathan day - Nathan and I hung out a the park for a long time, had lunch at his favorite restaurant, he had a nap while I assembled his new rider/bouncy worm thing which as you can see from the picture he enjoys. Then we played in and around his house until Daniel got home and it started getting dark outside. He likes rolling his tractors and dump trucks down the slide. A few days ago he tried sending the cat down the slide. Luckily Sumi is smart and has been jumping down from his house now when he is up there instead of hanging out. That evening we all played inside with his trains, colored, had cookies, etc. So I think he had a pretty good second birthday.

Ground Control to Major Dan

The Berzacks came down for halloween, a slightly early birthday for Nathan, and Daniel's promotion to Major. Eric and Rhona - Daniel's aunt and uncle were also able to come down and it was nice to have them here as well. Nathan loved all of the extra attention and sugar from candy and cake over the weekend. I am, of course, very proud of Daniel for getting his promotion - Nathan was not so impressed but he seemed to have a good time hanging out with Granny in the ready room and then looking at the jets in the hanger.

2 years old!

The Beaufort Dragon

Nathan wasn't a huge fan of the halloween trick or treat in downtown Beaufort but he warmed up to it at the end. He even had to wear his dragon suit to the grocery store on the way home.

The Boys

Daniel and Nathan watching Cars before bedtime.

Hanging out with Grandpa

The Bear came down for a visit which was nice. Nathan enjoyed all of the extra attention and I had someone to run with which is always good. Bear also restocked Nathan with the canned beans that he loves and we have all been chowing down on the fresh veggies. Daniel took us to the new sim on base when Bear was here which was pretty cool. Nathan even got in on the action and enjoyed playing with all of the buttons and switches in the sim.

Tiger Berzack

Sooo.....it's been awhile....again. Well just a quick summary of what we have been up to. Daniel is back safe and sound from Afghanistan and is now in another squadron in Beaufort - 312 the Checkerboards. Nathan and I are always busy and can usually be found outside at the beach, park, in town, or out in the yard. Nathan is back at his mother's morning out once a week which he seems to enjoy. As you can see we just went down to Saint Simons Island for the weekend where Nathan worked on his short game. More to follow soon.
